Congleton High School winners announced
Every year Berisfords hold a design competition for Congleton High’s Fashion and Clothing students who have the opportunity to visit the factory, have a tour and experience Weaving, Dyeing, Printing and Design processes. We then give students a brief and donate ribbon from our range according to each pupils design, these are later judged and given cash prizes.
This year the brief was to create a Cushion that mainly consisted of ribbon, the Entries this year were particularly impressive. Berisfords judges Peter Bowers and Fiona Hampton said ‘the work displayed was made to a very high standard;it was very difficult to judge and choose the best three designs’.
The winners were 3rd place Emily Shaw (heart), 2nd place Lou Webb (cat) and 1st place went to Isabel cooper with her beautiful birdcage design. Well done girls!
