DIRECT FOOD APPLICATIONS
All ribbons manufactured for direct food contact either as cut lengths or bow decorations are coated with a specialist finish to prevent any wicking of sugars and fats from the food onto the ribbon.
All ribbons are fully tested in our accredited laboratory for colour fastness, and wet and dry rubbing. This is to ensure there can be no transfer of colour from ribbon to food.
Ribbons can also be tested for colour migration using an icing compression test with customers own icing.
All testing procedures are fully documented and traceable and form part of our ISO90001 Accreditation.
All ribbons are food coated with specialist finish to prevent dye transfer and staining of fats and sugars.
Whilst every effort has been made to simulate colours, these are as close as the screen resolution allows.
